Folder completely locked, can't modify it at all. What do i do?

Hi there!

I have Panda Antivirus installed in my PC, and i'm trying to replace a file within the main folder of Panda, but the folder won't let me, it's locked, i've tried to set "read only" off in the folder's properties, but it turns on again as i exit the window, i've also tried to close Panda AV from the running processes, nothing works, i think it's some kind of security measure of the program, which i find very good, but is there any way to get around this lock?

Take ownership of the folder by making sure Easy File share is off in the Folder Options and right click the folder and go to Security. Go to advanced and then take ownership of the folder. Once you have ownership, you can modify everything.
