I think its pretty damn good for being fast food.

However, it is not now, nor has it ever been, ''Chinese food''

And basing one's Chinese culinary experience on Panda Express would be like basing one's American culinary experience on McDonald's.

Good, fast food Chinese place. They appear to be a franchisee based operation - popular locations are in strip malls, airports etc. Would recommend them for a quick bite. Be sure to try the Orange Chicken :-)

Their food has tons of MSG. Tastes good, but is very bad for you.
They don't have anything that I care to eat.

I'm Chinese, Panda Express is NOT Chinese food.

Even a lot of Chinese restaurants are not authentic.

When the chefs from Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong

that can cook authentic food come to the U.S., they have to be retrained to cook American style Chinese food.

To these chefs, this American style Chinese food is totally

weird and even foreign to them. To them, in order to cook this style of Chinese food, it feels like they have ruin their own works

of art in order to get the job done.

The restaurant owners eventually found out that, it's easier to

hire and train people with little or no cooking experience, than it is to to change the programming of an established chef.
