HELP!!! How Do I Do This? HELP!!!!!?

I have just installed Trend Micro 2007. During the installation I was never asked for my email....now that Trend is installed I need to register it and when I put my email it says Error.

You have not entered the correct email address, or submitted the address in an unrecognizable format. Please check the address and try again.

What's wrong?

And if there is no solution, then what Antivirus would you guys recommend me. Apart from Panda Antivirus and Norton Antivirus.
